What is the Klimaat Actie Netwerk?
We work towards climate justice, together.
We are a student party and a network
fighting for climate justice. We seek collaboration in promoting social responsibility and education for a better future. We believe that UM should act as a key actor in society and contribute to a better, more equal and sustainable world.
We aim to tackle climate change and biodiversity loss by integrating this into the curricula of all study programs and decolonizing the curricula to be of non-eurocentric and intersectional perspectives.
We seek to make UM a more safe and more supportive environment in promoting mental well-being and reducing the risk of mental health problems among students; also to properly address and prevent incidents of harassment, discrimination and (sexual) violence.
KAN’s goal is to bring students & organisations together,
to promote environments of bottom-up intitiatives.
We are a platform to grow collaboration and cooperation.
